Help Me Live USA began its response to the war in Gaza January 2024. Since then, its staff and volunteers have conducted missions in Rafah, Deir Al Balah, Tal Al Sultan, and Khan Younis. We have provided medical services, donated medical supplies to hospitals and clinics, organized water tank distributions, and handed out urgent items to families living in tents such as diapers, new clothes, food, and toys. In addition, we have given out hot meals and baby formula to civilians in need.
Currently, we are building medical field clinics and schools. Our first tent clinic was established mid-June and our second one, early July. Each clinic sees an average of 500 patients per week. All types of patients are welcome to our sites for medical evaluation including infants, children, women, adults, the elderly, and disabled.
As of June 30th, 2024, Help Me Live USA began offering classes in a school setting to 30 children in Al Mawasi, Khan Younis. Our focus with them is both education and mental wellness. We strive to provide a safe space for Palestinian kids to laugh and learn.
In order to maintain our operations in Gaza, we are looking to raise a total of $100,000 which would allow us to provide salaries for our local Palestinian staff as well as purchase supplies for our clinics and school. Any help is appreciated and we need as much support as possible.
